The Variable attenuator - Case Study
In response to the development of high powered hearing aids without manual volume control, the Ewing foundation technical team explored options for a variable attenuator for use with a stetoclip (listening stick). This is now commercially available to all practitioners and is a basic part of the teacher of the deaf toolkit.
