The Ewing Foundation Consultants are qualified, experienced teachers of the deaf. They offer a range of expertise in areas such as audiology, Offsted inspection and strategic development. Where appropriate the Consultants and Technicians collaboratively provide training.

In response to invitation the consultants provide:

• A nationwide service; formal events and friendly sessions
• Support in the classroom
• Support for developing policy and practice
• Audit and Best Value Review of provision
• Review of resources and their use
• Research updates, information and training
• Joint working with Government and voluntary agencies
• Support for all levels of teacher training and for experienced teachers of the deaf

Support is offered in a variety of formats:

• Customised on site training
• Formal inservice training
• Friendly individual sessions
• Training offered with or through other organisations
• Support materials and publications

Formal events usually incur a charge. For other training inputs, contact your nearest Consultant or Technician.
